Dr. Rob Edman Selected as a 2018 SIAM Science Policy Fellow

Dr. Rob Edman has been selected as a 2018 Science Policy fellow at the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM). The SIAM science policy fellowship trains scientists and mathematicians to be strong advocates for federal investments in applied mathematics and computational science. Dr. Edman plans to specifically advocate for mathematics technology transition through focused policy and funding.

Adventium Issued Two Security-Oriented Virtualization Patents

The USPTO issued two patents to Adventium on November 1st related to its security-oriented virtualization research. U.S. Patent 9,485,218 describes a device for preventing and responding to security threats. Patent 9,483,302 describes a means for coordinating cyber defenses in a virtualized computing environment. These bring the total patent portfolio supporting Adventium's Magrana® technology to five issued patents with other patents pending.
